Do you think Guido was right to hide the horrors of the concentration camp to his son?

This story is about a man named Guido and is son Giosè. When Guido learned that he and is family were going to be sent to a German concentration camp, he knew that it would be very hard and very sad. So he elaborated a game to hide the horrors of the concentrations camps to Giosè. I think Guido was right to elaborate a game because he knew that telling the truth to his son would have put his life in danger and also the day they were going to the concentration camp it was Giosè birthday so he didn't want his son to be sad. During the movie , Guido went in front of the room and instead of saying the rules of the concentration camp he said the rules were a game for is son. Guido is courageous, devoted and he take a lot of risk for his son because he love more his son than is own life. Guido invented the game to hid the reality of the concentration camp to his son because he thought it was the best thing to do. In conclusion, in some situations in life when you have to surmount difficult things it a good idea to try to make it as fun as possible. I think that the Holocaust was a very horrible thing and it was brave of Guido to let his son without the hard reality that was all around them.
